This 5-day adventure tours the remarkable Laos countryside, the sparkling Tad Sae waterfall and traditional villages of the Khamu and Hmong hill tribes. You will enjoy a bike ride and a thrilling elephant trek, and then spend the night camping in the jungle. The next 3-day portion of the adventure gives you an opportunity to explore the villages of the two most renowned ethnic groups in Northern Laos, namely the Khmu and Hmong. Also known as Laos Theung, the Khmu make their homes at medium altitude, while the Hmong, who are also referred to as Laos Soung, can be found among the mountain ridges at high altitude.
The trip is part of Luang Prabang’s Fair Trek Project and is designed with an emphasis on authenticity, cultural and ecological preservation.
